Digital image from original photographic print showing a southwest perspective view of the Keim House and the ancillary building to the right, which housed a wood turner’s shop and other activity associated with the farmstead; Victorian-style porch shown along house wall range, wrapping along west gable wall and south eaves wall and set on stone piers butted against original foundation masonry, was added in the first half of the 20th century, between c. 1930 and 1941 [see KHPH9--1002.01.044 and KHPH13--1002.01.057]. Original HABS caption for the image is as follows: "GENERAL VIEW OF KEIM FARMHOUSE (at left of photo; the structure at right is the Keim Stone Cabin [sic, not a settler’s "cabin" as earlier believed], HABS No. PA-1041)." Please note HABS created three separate files for three separate buildings at the Keim Farmstead: the house, barn, and "cabin" [later determined to be a multifunction "ancillary" structure, with strong evidence of a wood-turner’s shop on the level above the spring-cellar].
